I am a self taught artist for the better part, so I am constantly looking for new mediums and techniques and ways to perfect my craft. When my office became my studio and my house the gallery, I seriously started thinking about sharing it with the rest of the world.
My art is mainly an abstract take on expressionism using doodling, crosshatching and line art, but I will use more classical drawing or painting when I want to reproduce places and portraits.
When I find things that inspire me, I deconstruct them , reimagine them, change the perspective...just play. I don't follow any particular rule; I want an aesthetically pleasing result. Sometimes it may convey a message, but many times I find myself in front of a paper and will want to create something that will just make me feel happy or just leave it loose and totally surprise myself.
The only real limitations for expression in art are those you choose for yourself.
